Normally, I celebrate the new year by getting all fancied up and heading to a party.
This year, we decided to stay in, mainly because of my cast situation.
My mom cooked us a great dinner and we played a bunch of Sequence.
We laughed, we had some shots, we took a ton of silly pictures and we had a blast!
I couldn’t have thought of a better way to ring in the new year.
I have no idea what we were doing in this picture…
So far 2013 is going great.
On NYD, we ate a bunch of leftovers, watched football, took naps and played more Sequence.
Then, we ended the evening with Parenthood.
Anyone else watch it?
It was a great episode.
Yesterday, my parents and I, headed to the movies to see Django Unchained.
I was dying to see this movie and it did not disappoint!
Quentin Tarantino’s New Orleans-shot “spaghetti Southern” western is SO Tarantino!
Lots of blood but in a crazy ridiculous way.
This 3 hr movie is one you will not want to get up from to get a snack.
Leo’s performance is amazing and Jamie Fox deserves some kind of award!
I don’t think you have to see it in the theater though…

This evening, Glen & I are resuming our workout routine.
I even bought 3lbs ankle weights to strap onto my non-cast leg while I do Ab Ripper X.

We saw Django on Friday night. They have wine in our movie theater and I somehow took down an entire bottle in that three hour time….and was too drawn into the movie to use the restroom! It was so good!!! May 2013 be a great one for you! These days, I prefer staying in to going out.
