A couple weeks ago, I decided to move my weekly gratitude post to Thursdays.
Then, I forgot to post them.
I’m a creature of habit, I guess. #ohwell
Giving Thanks is back to Sundays, where it belongs!
So, much has happened in the past couple of weeks, which means SO much to be thankful for…
Let’s get started!

This week I am thankful for…

…my parents long visit to Trinidad.
I LOVE my parents.  I don’t think I could have survived in this cast without them.  They’ve provided loads of comic relief, played endless games w/me & helped me stay upbeat about my whole cast/pain/not running situation.  Trust me when I say, they know how to have a good time!  Not to mention all the cooking, cleaning & Christmas packing up they’ve done too!

I could not have recovered without this amazing scooter!  It has helped me stay mobile and put weight on my recovering leg.

…that my dad buys me Halloween stuff for Christmas.
Y’all should know by now, I love Halloween.  Nothing says Merry Christmas from a father to a daughter like a Halloween apron w/ruffles!  Love it! #lovemydad

…my CastCooler.
If you have a cast, this is not a “want”, it’s a necessity!  I could not survive w/o my amazing castcooler!
You connect it to a vacuum and turn it on and it circulates the air through the cast…and feels SO good!

…teaching my father – in – law how to use an ipad.

I didn’t let a cast or crutches define me while on vacation. (I might have complained a bit…here & there)
