I didn’t start blogging until I moved to Trinidad.
And as soon as I started reading other blogs in other parts of the world…
I saw that the bloggers got together and had lunches and dinners together.
I have to admit, I was a bit jealous.
Then, I thought, stop being jealous and do something about it.
I met Quincy, a local blogger, a we had a couple lunch blates.
Then, I started pushing for a local blogger lunch.
After months of waiting…it finally happened.
Yesterday, 4 of us were invited to Chaud Café, for a fabulous blogger event!
I promise to blog all about later in detail, but the food was AMAZING.
So was getting to meet other bloggers.
We had an fabulous time!
Yesterday I woke up SO sore.
When we had our fun pool day at The Hyatt on Monday, we hit the gym.
I really did it up and man…I’m sore everywhere.
I LOVE IT!
I haven’t felt like this since before the cast…
And I can’t wait t be able to workout again ASAP.
Only 9 days till (hopefully) cast off day!
It’s stinky, falling apart and just downright disgusting.
I thought the best way to start yesterday would be w/a massage.
So, I surprised M with in house massages yesterday morning.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
It was awesome.
I mean, when is a massage not awesome?!!
This morning is a crazy busy, but fun one.
- workout w/Melissa
putting her through the Tracy Anderson Mat DVD
- friend time a fun pool complete w/mimosas and a killer view
- making the fabulous falafel burgers tonight and catching a movie
It is Wednesday and that mean’s it’s WIAW.
My girl Jenn started this awesome/crazy popular thing, thanks Jenn.
It’s really simple, you post what you ate yesterday.
Let’s get started.
Breakfast was a bagel thin, 1/2 sweet potato and a piece of leftover turkey
I ate it so fast I failed to snap a picture.
I needed some OJ too…I had a low.
Since the blogger event was a lot of food…I kept it light all day.
Here are a couple teasers of what was offered.

You really should try to meet up with a local blogger. I too don’t eat much of whats served but I love going for the social aspect and to take photos. It was SO much fun…check back later to see the post!

This post made me chuckle. I’m an on again off again blogger (mostly off these days err years). I came across your blog when I was doing a search for a new restaurant that opened in December and have been reading quietly in the corner over there *points* ever since.
When I was an avid blogger we never really had meet ups, meeting people would be like what you did with Quincy, just meet the one person for lunch or something. It was only when I went on twitter that I really started to meet other people and we would have “tweet ups” every so often, still do. A lot of the people whose blogs I used to read are on twitter so I guess its a sort of double event.
Your cast shall soon be off …hoorah!

No I am too shy! All the bloggers in my area are established and cute and perfect practically. Its hard to go to lunch with 12 different versions of Mary Poppins when you are really Lady Gaga.
