Pool workouts are exhausting.

1 minute hard, 1 minute easy

4 minutes hard, 4 minutes easy
5 minutes hard
Cool down: 15 minute easy pool jog
Tread with Arms only for 2 minutes and then repeat session.

Yesterday started early, around 6:20, when my adorable hubby woke me up with breakfast in bed. #lovehim
He had made me eggs and tea after his long run.
After gobbling them up, I threw my bathing suit on headed to my morning workout.
I needed a bit more than eggs, so I made this to go.

Breakfast:  eggs w/cheddar, tea, 1/2 Ezekiel English muffin, sweet potatoes and green onions

  1. Yay for cabbage soup! :) I really need to get in the pool more. I usually forget about it.

  2. First of all, I want that pool. Second of all, I have to admit that while we do have a pool, there are no chirping birds or awesome sounds of nature that come with it. Third, our animal noises include a dog barking, and these annoying little “birds” that crow in our woods. Lol.

  5. I love Twizzlers, can never keep myself to one serving though. T always says they taste like plastic so i don’t even have anyone to share the bag with me. Love mashed sweet potato on quesadillas and toast.

  6. Your pool workout sounds intense. I tried to do some pool “running” when I had my boot (I could take it off here and there) but I didn’t have anything to keep me afloat and I still felt like I was putting too much weight down so I just stuck to straight-up swimming.

Sugar free twizzlers??? I didn’t know there was such a thing – are they any good?

  7. Wow this looks like a day of good food. What a lovely hubby, I think it always tastes better when cooked by someone else . I am in awe of your works out, I only recently started exercising, so I’m always on the look out for new ideas. Stupid question I know but, is pool running like running on the spot in the water or running through?
